On Saturday the top 9 times from each event competed in the finals. The Olympians first event was the 4x100 meter relay (VanHarvey Vance, Zachary Roebuck, Jyran Mitchell & Sean Tyler) where they won their first State title of the day with a new school record 42.16 seconds. Then, 3 hours later the 4x200 relay won their State Championship 1:28.71 (Jyran Mitchell, Zachary Roebuck, Josiah Gholar & Sean Tyler). Finally, the next event was the 400 meters where VanHarvey Vance ran a 48.7 and won by more than 1 full second over the second place finisher. Congratulations to the coaches (Quincy Woods, Terrell Alexander, Thomas Noble, & Dave Stanko) who did an outstanding job preparing our athletes physically and mentally for the challenges they faced this season. The Track team is looking forward to next season as all of these athletes will be returning. Congratulations to the Rich Central Boys Track Team for an outstanding season!!!!!!!
